For more than 20 years now we have successfully organised international exchanges. We have worked together with schools all over Europe. We have very close relationships with Vasa (Finland), Sykkylven (Norway), Bergen (Norway) Reykjavik (Iceland), Budapest (Hungary), Schelklingen (Germany), Izmir (Turkey), Pamplona (Spain), and many others. We are setting up international exchanges with 2 South-African school now: Eldoraigne Hoërskool in Centurion near Johannesburg and Southdowns College in Irene (also near Johannesburg and Pretoria).
The aim of exchanges is to develop and maintain a close and rich relationship, to create personal contacts among the students of our schools, to organise and manage teacher and student exchanges and to explore the national traits, ways of thinking and educational systems of our institutions. It is also among our main goals to introduce our home country, our landmarks, cultural en intellectual heritage and current problems and difficulties to our partners. Furthermore, we do feel that international meetings tremendously facilitate the improvement of the language skills of our students. We also believe that exchanges make our students more mature and more valuable for the community, whether that is a small town as Waregem or all of Belgium, Europe and the world as a whole. International exchanges widen the scope of education!
